Traction Advisor Group

Privacy Policy

Effective date: [DATE PUBLISHED]

Traction Advisor Group LLC (“Traction,” “we,” “us”) provides financial analytics and advisory services to its clients, including a reporting platform that connects to accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online. This Privacy Policy describes what information the platform collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy covers the Traction Platform and its connections to third-party accounting systems. Our broader advisory relationship with each client is governed by that client's engagement agreement with Traction.

Information we collect

Accounting data you authorize. When you connect your QuickBooks Online company to the platform, you authorize us, through Intuit's OAuth consent process, to access your company's accounting records. We retrieve only the records the platform needs to produce financial reporting: the general ledger, trial balance, chart of accounts, and company information. We do not access your QuickBooks login credentials; the connection uses access tokens issued by Intuit.

Account information. If you use a client portal or dashboard we provide, we collect the information needed to operate your account, such as your name, email address, and login records.

Usage and log data. Like most online services, our systems record technical logs (such as IP addresses, timestamps, and pages or reports accessed) for security and operations.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

We do not sell your information. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not use your accounting data for any purpose unrelated to providing services to you.

How we share information

We share information only with:

Each client's data is kept separate: the platform enforces per-client isolation at the database level, and no client can access another client's information.

QuickBooks Online connections

Your QuickBooks connection is under your control. You can disconnect the platform at any time from your Intuit account (Connected Apps) or by asking us to disconnect it. When the connection is revoked, we stop retrieving data from your QuickBooks company. Connection tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared with third parties.

Your use of QuickBooks Online itself is governed by Intuit's own terms and privacy policy.

Security

We protect your information with measures that include encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest provided by our cloud infrastructure, encrypted storage of connection credentials, per-client database isolation, and access limited to authorized personnel who need it to provide services.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using recognized safeguards and to review them as the platform evolves.

Data retention

We retain accounting data for as long as needed to provide services under the client relationship, and afterward as required for legal, regulatory, or professional record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your data; we will honor the request except where retention is required by law or by our professional duties.

Your choices

Children

The platform is a business service and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
